Buffalo here we go. Before reaching this precious mountain, we saw a giant waterfall dropping from a mountain in the far landscape. After a while, here we are. A long walk, the Big Walk, climbs all along the mountain. It starts from the bottom and goes almost to the top. 11kms one way. Passing over waterfalls and providing a beautifull view on the Victorians Alps. As we arrived a bit late, we couldn't do the walk this same day, but we had plenty of things to see around. So we started driving up the Mount. We first stopped at Eurobins waterfall. The upper part of the waterfall looked like a gigantic slide. What a wonderfull place. Some signs reminded us the risks of getting closer to the fall but like teenagers without consciousness we got over the fences. And .... no drama happened. Climbing over big rocks was so much fun. In the downside was the kind of waterfall you may dream of. Plenty of clear water, with some palms. Almost perfect. But ... of course, the water was so cold you can't put a toe in it. Sheiz*@!

We stopped to another fall (Rollasons fall). Once again with 2 parts. The rocky side of this mount converted some places along the river to wonderfull waterfalls, with clear water.+

In our way to the top, we realized that the Big Walk was going all along the road. Not interesting though. So we continued to the top passing spectacular scenic lookouts and crossing the walk a couple of time.

Rollasons! Do you remember the fall we perceived on our way? Here we were, on top o it. They call the place the Gorge. Along centuries the river excavated the cliff. 150m of falling water. This place is well known for rock climbing (3 days to go through this monumental nightmare.

Guess what! For the 2nd time in our life we met a wombat. We first thought it was a tree trunk. But even if we were drunk, we know that a trunk don't move by itself (unless thousands of ants are trying to move it). So, here was our wombat. I have tried not to use "cute" to qualify it. If we've been confused at first sight it was due to this animal being awfully affected by a disease. Kind of disease that give to most of his skin an appearance of ... stone. Cute, but so sad to see this wombat who lost his sight because of the disease. Thank god, he was still autonomous and seems to have developped a strong hearing.

We wanted to reach the highest top of the surrounding, the Horn, before the end of the day. A wonderull view they say. What an incredible sunset. A red line above the horizon all along the tops o the other mounts.

Great day for us! Too late to head back to a campsite in such a damaged road. We will stay the night at the top.
